This is the point - bloodhound fang doesn't have better stats. By a margin (few points) with equal upgrades dismounter is better by few points. 2) You cannot apply Ash of War on bloodhound fang. It has automatic ability of blood loss, but it's automatic and you cannot change it. And it's very hard to use it in fact because it's not fast weapon.

I feel like I have been neglecting arcane and I understand that it helps with bleed builds, but it hasn't really been necessary up to this point. If the bloodhound fang doesn't have arcane scaling, will the bleed buildup not increase with leveling of arcane or does it not matter.You can't change anything on the Bloodhound Fang since it has a unique ash of war. The best way to increase bleed on that weapon is using blood grease.
