This movie has a just divine plot. I believe the Rogue Cut, simply adds Rogue and I think would be a better watch. I don’t think anything is removed. They’re basically the same. Lobdell seemed to have lost the ability to tell a coherent X-men story after AoA until Eve of Destruction came around. There's a lot of strong secondary X books. Lobdell's Generation X, most of Excalibur, Nicieza on X-Force, David's X-Factor, Nicieza's Cable, Hama's Wolverine, Nicieza's Gambit, etc ...New X-Men has the better concepts and peaks to me ( the Cassandra storyline is the best out of the two runs). Astonishing X-Men is more consistent and the easier reread. I give the edge to Astonishing only due to accessibility(for myself).
